When one of the world’s most outrageous sports cars arrives in one of the most dramatic and picturesque settings on earth — Canada’s Alberta Province — a high-octane journey is guaranteed. But host Arthur St. Antoine does much more than simply wring-out this very special GT-R. While exploring the Canadian Rockies, he delves deep into a cave, climbs a glacier in a huge snow coach, takes several wide-eyed passengers on full-throttle launch-control blasts, and even tries out Nissan’s ultimate speed machine in “ranch” mode! It’s a round-up you won’t want to miss!

Doge Shibe says:

I loved the episode, just don’t like the way this dude delivers lines. He
makes everything sound so scripted.

Bearded Gamer says:

I’m guessing Breitling are probably one of the sponsors along with Nissan,
the hotel restaurant he visited and possibly even the Canadian tourist
board. If sitting through a few gratuitous shots of his watch and a couple
of minutes plugging a business means we get a well produced 20 minute video
then I’m all for it… I mean what’s the alternative? Paying for content
like Drive+? No thanks. Besides, it’s no worse than the product placement
that pays for almost every major Hollywood movie these days.

If sponsors help keep quality youtube content free, we need to support the
channels who are doing their best to avoid subscription based services.

Keep up the great work Motor Trend.

Cranking All Day says:

I live in Calgary Alberta and I have been to almost all these places. They

is.

I’m glad this is my backyard. I did that exact cave tour last summer. So
much fun. That rappel into the dark hole was intense since you couldn’t see
the bottom. Alberta and BC are beautiful.

M Jones says:

Canadian Rockies are a great setting for a car video, but why the GTR??
Should’ve focused on a sexier, more exciting car……Nissan GTR is about
as interesting as a box of rocks.

Donald Labriola says:

Art, you’re a talented journalist and obviously experienced adventurer.
This report is for Epic Drives, not cattle drives. Spelunking, bar hopping
and glacier touring would play great on the Discovery Channel. The audience
here are auto enthusiasts. We want to see and hear why the GT-R makes this
drive special. What you’ve presented would have likely played pretty much
the same in a VW Beetle. A great opportunity to film a tremendous episode
was for the most part wasted. You can do better, and that goes the same for
Motor Trend.

Niklaus Weisskopf says:

Who did the subtitles? lol, i could have done a better job and i`m a swiss
national :-)
