My name is Mark Lemmon and I am proud to be the Owner and Chief Contributor of the website CarRolodex.com. When I'm not working at my regular 9-5 job you can find me tracking down interesting automotive stories to report on for the Car Rolodex website. When I'm not doing that I'm getting paid to write anonymously for a handful of other blogging websites, some of which are automotive based and some that are not. I've also had some of my work published in Canadian Magazines and am now going to try my hand at writing, producing and staring in automotive programming for the carrolodex1 YouTube channel.
This video was my first kick at the can per say and although not perfect, (is anything really?) I am was pleased with the end results and so much so that I have used this video as my Audition real for Motor Trends open call to host their new YouTube show Wide Open Throttle.
This is my first time being in front of the camera (which I borrowed from my father in-law) as well as my first time working with the iMovie video editing program on my Macbook Air. One thing is for sure I loved the creative freedom that filming allowed me to have and I enjoyed working in the fast paced world of video. It certainly is a different beast when compared to my normal creative outlet the written word. Once you say those words they are out there for good. There is no backspace or delete button on the camera so once you put it out there it is out there.
