I had a 2010 YZF R125 and it was sooo much fun – if only it had a bit more
power for overtaking. I’ve got an R1 now but would stick with the 125 if it
were slightly faster – I guess the new YZF R25 (R300 in Europe) is going to
be very interesting …
No way, I had this bike. Now its going to look even more like the R6 with
those split headlights for air intake!

Looks a lot nicer. Upside down forks (fork tops showing on yoke look better
metal instead of rubber). New yoke. New brakes(new front master cylinder
looks better). New passenger foot pegs. Intake looks good (maybe not
better). Dash looks good although I liked the analogue rev counter. They
don’t really need to change the engine much.
Doesn’t look too bad for 125. But where is YZF-R3 that everybody was
expecting to compete with Ninja 300 and rumoured CBR300R. Or is the market
saturated now?
This should have been an updated R6 before they switch to the 3 cylinder
engine. It would be really nice to have the option of stock bells and
whistles like ABS, traction control, power modes, etc that other super
sports now have. I would get a 636 or something but love the design of
Yamaha bikes.

The found is always fooked on your vids. They should put a yzf 450 donk in
that frame 125 no point.

economy etc?
Man if this model had a 250 or 300cc engine.. sales would be through the

A slightly more in depth report would have been nice. Maybe a little more
detail over 2 minutes instead of 50 seconds..
Older CBR125Rs look better and are cheaper. No point in buying these new
when so many are available with low mileage for next to nothing.
