DeathstalkeR says:

Moto guzzi v7 not part of this review?

uberpaht says:

I love how you hear everyone’s conversations in the background.

Mikolaj1406 says:

Definitely the Triumph.

alfamonk says:

there is quite a noisy old bag in the background, a bit distracting.

bigrobnz says:

Where the fuck was the bikes??

Nowell Creadick says:

BMW just plain ugly

Roy Rodriguez says:

what did he say

Genki Dama says:

How about the MV Agusta V7 or the cb1100? Good video though. Surprised the
Norton couldn’t put up more of a fight against the BMW. At that price, and
with that name, the BMW is what Norton should be aiming for.

Rob Mitchell says:

Careful of the BMW. In the 1st 25,000kms I spent between over 25% of the
purchase price keeping it going, then pistons failed. BMW wouldn’t respond
and obey the law, I was forced to take BMW to court. Be very careful of BMW

Ron Wilson says:

This ‘new’ Norton is a total joke. Older (original) Nortons didn’t have the
“bits-and-pieces” look of this new abortion. The
originals also had the engine (and I think the swingarm) isolated from the
frame. This waaaay overpriced poor excuse of
a British parallel twin VIBRATES worse thn an AMF (1974) Harley Sportster.
The bike looks like it was designed by three
different design groups which were out of contact with each other. [1]
Grossly overpriced [2] Uhging fugly [3] Vibrates
more than anything else currently sold. Actually makes an Ural look good.
Want a real Norton? There exists many original
Nortons on E Bay for way less than this loser.

Tom OfNorthCal says:

I also test rode the R Nine T and it is a cool and powerful bike. It also
surprisingly handles nice in city traffic.

Dougie says:

lol best badge in biking, Norton…but the bike is actually overpriced and
crap lol

The Gentleman Biker says:

I’d probably go with the BMW out of those for style, the Norton is great
but a hell of a lot of money.

Aleksander Eide says:

I think I would’ve got the Norton if I had the money. The BMW looks a bit
fat and ordinary. Maybe for older guys. But the Norton Commando in black
and gold is cooler.

Malcolm Lear says:

Bee Emm is German, the Enfield is Indian, so it’s not a Brit pack, why
then is there no Ducati Monster? it fits in well with the Genre, – sporty
naked, good looking cool bikes. The Monster is a huge seller, and one which
these bikes have to compete with.

Lee Marsh says:

I ride a Thruxton, there was a Norton like the one tested for sale at a
local Triumph dealer, the owner of the Norton brought a Thruxton because
the Norton didn’t want to do bends.

Andy C says:

was gonna write comment about sound but seems everyones already done it lol

David Perrotta says:

The BMW looks like the Moto Guzzi Griso.

ahmed qasim says:

God bless you Mr.Neeves for detailed explanation

E Brown says:

Thruxton for me, as it seems to offer the best combination of performance,
price, and retro looks with modern tech. The Norton is too pricey, the BMW
not retro enough for my tastes, and the Enfield’s performance means it’d be
cheaper to just get an old bike.

robert nagy says:

NORTON is the best! I realy love English motorcycles but for me they are
verry expensive! NORTON is the automate BIKE!Seeing this video I feel like
watch a BMW commercial!

Rod Anderson says:

it would be nice if they actually did a COMPERHENSIVE test of all these
bikes, rather than a quick walk around and general comments, especially as
we are shelling out a lot of hard earned loot to buy any a decent sized
bike these days? The Horton is Mouth Watering, as it should be, being hand
built, and if any ever come to New Zealand, they will likely be Horendously
expensive

Clint Keener says:

The Americans chose the BMW, because they are sold out.

Sale_Shark says:

Nice honest review !!!
Pity you never tried the Moto-Guzzi V7 Stone too as it’s a similar rival
too or a new second generation 2014 Diavel as they’re both Kings Of Cool
too !!!

Aidan Fenoglio says:

Typical mcn sound quality!

DropAGearDisappear says:

I love the nineT they look so cool! But I prefer my street triple r

Mrhallager1 says:

i like the thruxton more then the bmw. the thruxton is retro the bmw is
just trying to be retro.

but the best bike is still Ducati sport classic ;-)

Mike K. says:

Norton for me please ! BMW is a great looking machine but nobody else ever
build better cafe racers than Norton !

Alberto Knox says:

I have a Thruxton. Despite the throttle being a little (lot?) choppy on
tip-in and the suspension being primitive I find it a hoot to ride. I even
took it to a track day.

If I wanted a “retro” BMW I would want it to look more like an R50/2 I
think. BMW is missing a bet here.

Al GUIEN says:

cuadrado el tanque, recto el asiento, parace un grillo.

Al GUIEN says:

sinceramente, es como la moto de la pantera rosa, un respaldo de cama con
dos ruedas.
